The food is outstanding here. Try the Blue Crab Cakes with cilantro mayo and salsa fresca or the Indian Firesticks Mixed Grill of sea scallops, marinated chicken and seasoned beef tenderloin. The traditional Steak Soup blends sirloin with New Mexico roast red chili.
Entrees come with one side:
Among savory specialties is Mesquite-grilled Catfish with black beans, roast corn, tomato pico de gallo and cilantro pesto. Try the Ranch-style Family Platter of a whole roast chicken with mesquite-grilled garlic and a full slab of chili-baked ribs or a Southwestern Mixed Grill of filet mignon, lamb chops and cilantro-lime shrimp for three or four, with the garlic mashed potatoes and a side.
The colorful kids menu offers burgers, ribs, fried shrimp and cheese nachos with fries and a soft drink.
The Spanish Almond Tequila Cake with mixed seasonal fruits and strawberry glaze is sublime. Specialty drinks have names such as 'Til the Cows Come Home (Absolute vodka and Cuervo Gold Tequila with Triple Sec, Sweet & Sour, orange juice and Coca Cola) and Back in the Saddle Bellini (a frozen cocktail blending champagne, peach puree and peach schnapps).
